Should you wish to experience more of the cuisine that Laoag City has to offer, Balay da Blas is perfectly situated in the heart of the city. Many dining establishments, including the ubiquitous fast food chains such as Chowking, McDonald's and Jollibee are only a whiff away.
One local restaurant that deserves special mention is Saramsam Ylocano Restaurant and Bar. This restaurant has been featured on ABS-CBN - on the programs TV Patrol and Trip na Trip, GMA - on the programs of Mel & Joey and 100% Pinoy and the Inquirer for its bold approach to the traditional Ilocano dish. Its specialty - the Saramsam Pasta was also featured in Flavours magazine. Saramsam Ylocano Restaurant has also recently opened a new annex Saramsam Too where you can sing the night away on videoke. Another restaurant that may pique your interest is the La Preciosa, which offers a selection of Ilocano, Filipino and Spanish cuisine.
